We all know what a Cobra 29 is, now what does this bluetooth have to do with the cb? This bluetooth enabled cb will allow truckers the ability to receive cell phone calls via the cb radio unit. Example: A user matches the codes from their cell phone to the radio. When the cell phone gets a call the cb radio will switch to cell phone mode. Meaning the cb radio will act as a speakerphone. The person on the phone will be coming over the cb speaker and you will be talking to them using the cb's hand microphone.

You see those people with bluetooth headsets for their phone. Their cellular phone is in their pocket but they talk on that strange star trek thing sticking out of their ear. In this situation the cb is simply acting as the wireless headset device. The key purpose being hands free operation. A trucker does not have to fumble with a cell phone to take a call. He (or she) takes the phone call over the cb as to not draw attention away from driving.

In the future it will be interesting to see what other blue tooth devices and reverse engineering will accompany this new, "cb radio meets bluetooth" concept.
